Evelop will soon be the latest airline to be equipped with Immfly Connected Digital Services and Best-in-class IFE. Together, the two companies will entertain passengers on long-haul A330-300 flights to the Caribbean
Barcelona, 25th of February 2019. Evelop – the airline owned by one of the most prominent tourism groups in Spain, Barceló Group – became the latest carrier to partner with Immfly. With a fleet dedicated to long-haul and medium-haul flights, the airline provides services to Barceló Group’s own in-house tour operators and on behalf of European tour operators in the Scandinavian and British markets.
Beyond the seat back screens which the airline is already equipped with, Evelop decided to take another step forward to secure a modern and highly flexible digital platform.
As Evelop operates long-haul flights to holidays destinations, such as Cancun, Havana, Varadero, Mauritius, Punta Cana and very soon this year, also to Kenya and Zanzibar, providing a state of the art inflight digital services and entertainment platform at passengers’ fingertips will significantly enhance the inflight experience. Installation of Immfly’s platform is scheduled to start in April.
Best-in-class IFE and Connected Digital Services
Immfly’s platform enables passengers to use their own smart devices (phones, tablets, and PCs) to enjoy premium curated content and services. As it does not rely on board internet connectivity, it delivers the fastest onboard streaming speeds.
Immfly already partners with major studios such as 20th Century FOX, and with other favored content providers including the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Euronews, Cosmopolitan, National Geographic among many other premium brands. Moreover, the IFE platform allows passengers to access valuable information during their flight – a 3D moving map, travel guides, offers for destinations activities, as well as many other services.
Ancillary Revenues & Profitability
Immfly is the first and only company to make IFE profitable and leads the industry with expertise in revenue generation utilising onboard digital services. Airlines are no longer required to invest in expensive seat back systems which weigh down aircraft and balance sheets with heavy systems which also tend to be costly to maintain. Immfly provides dynamic, content-rich, connected digital platforms which eliminate weight and costs while providing profitable new ancillary revenue streams and dynamic content. Airlines benefit from an enhanced passenger experience, smarter operations, and significant new revenue streams.
Immfly offers a unique value proposition and business model to airlines. On the one hand, reducing operational costs, and, on the other, boosting efficiencies and revenues. Immfly’s services are proven to substantially increase levels of intent to re-purchase with a clear Net Promoter Score impact. As recently published in easyJet’s Financial Results, Immfly’s IFE platform “has driven a 22 percentage point improvement in customer satisfaction for customers using the platform versus easyJet’s network average”.
In words of the General Director of Evelop, Bruno Claeys, “We very much look forward to launching the Immfly digital services platform on board our aircraft. Immfly has demonstrated to the industry it delivers substantial benefits, and Evelop chose Immfly given the company is the clear leader in inflight digital services focused on enhancing inflight revenues and optimising costs.”
