Tenerife, November 2015 — After much searching, we found a good place to eat good, nice and cheap food in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As you know, the Canarian cuisine is very diverse. It has a very strong personality. Wrinkled potatoes, the gofio, the banana … In fact, its rich landscape is only rivaled by a cuisine with Caribbean and African flavors. If you are planning to be in the capital of Tenerife, a piece of advice:
It’s good: It’s market cuisine. Homemade. Canarian style. In fact it is known as Casa Ramon. Excellent reputation on various online channels. On Tripadvisor, in addition to the Certificate of Excellence, they have a lot of positive reviews. Out of 554 reviews, over 500 they are excellent or very good. A safe bet.
It is nice: itas very popular with locals. A reference in town. Do not be fooled by the outside. Because it’s not just any tavern. Located on the Rambla (Rambla General Franco, 56), you cannot help but stop here to rest from your tour, take a good glass of wine and an appetizer, some tapas or a menu.
It’s cheap: the price is around 25 a. Book here.
Recommended tapas: the house scallops, garlic omelettes, the scorpion fish cake, the croquettes, and the potatoes of the house. And their cheeses are to rave about.
Advice: they donat take reservations. If you donat want to wait, try going outside peak hours.
